She grit her teeth and had to remember that punching people through walls was not a good way to deal with personal problems. Even if it made her feel better about everything. “Damn it, Ven!”

She followed him and grabbed him again, much tighter. They were not finished here. “I wasn’t avoiding you. Why the hell would I be? So you’re going to scream at me over bad timing? I was gone because I had to be. I’m sorry I wasn’t around but it wasn’t anything I could help. Now are you going to keep being mad at me like an idiot or can you just accept that I’m really fucking glad you’re back?”

He let her grab his form, feeling the strength of her grip. Sighing, he looked down. He knew that she had reasons to be gone; and he couldn’t blame her for that. He still held a heated hate inside of him, but he loosened up and turned around to her, burying his face into her chest. 

Her scent, her texture; it was something he missed so much. “…I missed you…so much, Aqua…I…missed you, damnit…” Ven hardly ever swore, his eyes beginning to secrete water in the form of tears.

“….I love you, you know…?” He held up his left hand with his engagement ring.

“Idiot…” She mumbled, pressing her lips to the top of his head and holding onto him tightly. “I missed you too…” Aqua shut her eyes, sighing contently. She’d missed this, the way he seemed to fit so perfectly into her embrace, the way his hair tickled her cheeks as she nuzzled it. Everything.

She took his hand and pressed a kiss to his knuckles. “I know, silly. I know.” Her eyes were filling up with tears, but she wiped them away, pulling him close again. He’d been gone so long she just…she needed a moment to fully grasp he was real, he was here, in her arms again.

His missing piece. He felt so complete with Aqua in his arms. Unlike Aqua, Ven was used to crying and letting his feelings out. His arms reached around her tightly, not wanting to let go. Who knows if either of them would have to go again, but he definitely didn’t want to think about that right now.

“…I love you, Aqua…I love you so much…” His body shook a bit. But he was happy.. Happy to have her in his arms again.

He folded his arms. “At least when I disappear, I LET PEOPLE KNOW.” He started to walk back to the tower. “……”

“I know I screwed up and I’m sorry, what more do you want me to say?” She pleaded, grabbing his arm to stop him from leaving. “And for the record, you’ve been gone a long damn time too.”

“You think I don’t know that?!” He yelled at her, the blue in his eyes flaring up as he turned back around. “You REALLY think I don’t know that?! I KNOW I’ve been gone for a long time. I KNOW that. But when I do come back, your face is the first thing I want to see! I’m glad Terra’s still here, because if he wasn’t, I damn sure wouldn’t have a reason to be! Master Eraqus left, and we ALL know about Rose. I come back multiple times only to find you’re NOWHERE to be found, only to return when I LEAVE.” He snatched his arm from her. “You know, if I didn’t know any better; Aqua, I’d say you were avoiding me!” A scorned look appeared on his face. “….That’s okay, Aqua. You don’t have to say anything else.” With a High Jump, the boy then began to fly to his room. 

“…And for the record, you’ve been gone a long damn time too,” he mocked. “….Duh!”

“Oh IS THAT THE UNDERSTATEMENT.” He floated in the air, glaring down at her. “I have half a mind to smash my keyblade against your head!”

She cringed, looking down at her hands. “…I’d say I’m sorry but you’ll probably just yell…”

He grunted, his eyes narrowing more at her. “……..” Ventus landed back on the ground, and turned around. “….hm. Whatever.”

“…I’m actually up early up for once….I’m thinking too much.”

“Hey Ven” he smile slightly reaching out his hand to ruffle his hair “Is something troubling you?”

“Huh…?” The boy turned around and looked up at him. “Oh hey, Terra,” he replied, as the older male ruffled his hair. “…And…uhm, no…it’s…nothing…I’m just up really early for once…it’s…odd for me.”

“…I’m actually up early up for once….I’m thinking too much.”
